Applications Across Construction Equipment
Construction machinery operates under different combinations of load, vibration, impact and abrasion. We consider the application and working conditions when reviewing the material and manufacturing requirements of each component.

Excavators & Loaders
Housings, brackets and connecting components for earthmoving equipment, with requirements defined by the mounting arrangement, working loads and assembly interfaces.

Road Equipment
Support, mounting and drivetrain components for graders, rollers and related machinery used in road construction and maintenance.

Concrete Equipment
Housings, supports and mounting components for concrete mixing and handling machinery, with attention to mechanical loads and equipment assembly.

Crushing Equipment
Housing, support and selected wear components for aggregate processing equipment, with materials chosen according to impact, abrasion and component function.
Materials for Construction Castings
We offer grey iron, ductile iron, carbon steel and manganese steel for suitable construction machinery components. Material selection considers the working load, impact, wear conditions, operating temperature and function of the part. The applications listed are examples. Final material grades and heat treatment requirements are confirmed according to the drawing and service conditions.
| Material | Key Characteristics | Typical Applications | ||||||
| Grey Iron | Good machinability and vibration damping. Suitability should be assessed carefully where significant impact loading is present. | Suitable transmission housings, end covers and machinery bases. | ||||||
| Ductile Iron | A balance of strength and ductility, with properties determined by the selected grade and treatment. | Wheel hubs, bearing supports, mounting brackets and axle housings. | ||||||
| Carbon Steel | Strength and toughness tailored through material grade and heat treatment to suit mechanical loading requirements. | Linkage components, mounting brackets and load-carrying connections. | ||||||
| Manganese Steel | Work-hardening capability under sufficient impact or compressive loading, supporting wear resistance in suitable operating conditions. | Selected crusher liners and impact-loaded wear components. |
From Casting to Machined Components
The production route is selected according to the material, component geometry, order quantity and finishing requirements. Casting and machining are considered together to address both the overall shape and the functional features of the finished part.

Our Main Casting Processes
Plan Your Construction Casting Project
Clear technical requirements help us review your component and prepare a suitable quotation. Please share the information below when discussing a new project.
Drawing & Operating Conditions
Provide the part drawing and explain where the component will be used. Include relevant loads, impact, wear conditions and operating temperatures, together with critical assembly requirements.
Material & Finishing
Specify the material grade, required mechanical properties and any heat treatment, machining or surface protection requirements. Identify critical fits, datums and functional surfaces on the drawing.

Inspection Based on Your Specifications
Our inspection capabilities include chemical composition analysis, tensile strength, yield strength, elongation and hardness testing, as well as non-destructive testing. The inspection scope is agreed according to the material grade, component drawing and customer requirements.
Chemical Composition
Chemical analysis checks the alloy composition against the specified material requirements.
Mechanical Properties
Tensile strength, yield strength, elongation and hardness are tested as applicable to the material grade and agreed inspection plan.

Discuss Your Construction Casting Project
Send us your drawings, material requirements and estimated quantity. Our team will review the casting, machining and inspection needs of your component.
Agricultural Casting FAQs
Can you manufacture castings to our drawings?
Yes. We review custom casting projects based on your drawings, material specifications and quantity requirements. If machining is required, please include the finished-part drawing with critical dimensions, tolerances and surface finish requirements.
Which material is suitable for our component?
The choice depends on the working loads, impact, wear conditions, operating temperature and function of the part. Grey iron, ductile iron, carbon steel and manganese steel offer different properties. Share your application requirements so that we can discuss a suitable material grade and production approach.
Is manganese steel suitable for every wear part?
No. Manganese steel develops increased surface hardness through work hardening under sufficient impact or compressive loading. In applications dominated by low-impact abrasion, another material may be more suitable. The wear mechanism and operating conditions should be reviewed before selecting the material.
Can casting and machining be supplied together?
Yes. Casting and machining can be reviewed as one project. This allows machining allowances, locating datums, critical fits and inspection requirements to be considered together for the finished component.
